Get ready!  KIDS Dash is coming on Friday, October 13, 2017!

KIDS Dash is an annual fundraising event held in the fall during the school day.   Students collect pledges for the number of laps they will run around our field in 15 minutes.  Teachers incorporate KIDS Dash into their curriculum, by teaching student about healthy eating and exercise.  They teach students how to stretch and practice running before the event.  Students also create signs to cheer on their “Buddy Classes” on the day of the Dash.

Students are encouraged to start their own KIDS Dash personal fundraising page that they can personalize with their own picture, set their own fundraising goal and share it with friends and family through email and social media to collect donations.

 

KIDS Dash packets were sent home with students on Friday, Sept. 22nd.  Electronic copies of those packets are on our classroom shutterfly account along with the schedule for the day.  KIDS Dash is Friday, October 13th and your students pledge form should be turned into their teacher (no money yet) by Monday, October 9th so we can get them all ready for the dash on the 13th.   The KIDS Dash fundraising page has launched and you can set up a personalized online fundraising page and promote that through your social media.  It is a great way to provide friends and family who don’t live locally a chance to participate by making an online donation.  Follow this link to set up your personal fundraising page https://ourcommunityschool.networkforgood.com/projects/36204-2017-kids-dash.
