Assemblies

OCS Assemblies are community celebrations. Classes from TK-8th grade share classwork, art, skits, songs, poems, dances, and announcements about their classwork or ongoing school-wide issues. The Student Senate presents information and the school music program plays songs and invites students into sing-a-longs. Check the school calendar for regular assembly schedule. Assemblies take place in the multi-purpose room or on the field. Parents are encouraged and welcome to attend. Classrooms take turns hosting assemblies. The host class organizes the presentations, M.C’s the assembly and escorts the other classes to their seats.
