The 2026 Kids Dash is here, and we have currently raised 1.35% of our Kids Dash goal this year! Thank you so much to those in our school community who have already contributed and supported this fundraiser.
Imagine if we can hit 100% participation this year! To reach our $50,000 goal across our 425 students:
- To hit 50% of our goal: Every student would need to raise an average of $58.82.
- To hit 100% of our goal: Every student would need to raise an average of $117.65.
- To hit 200% of our goal: Every student would need to raise an average of $235.29.
If you have not yet created a student page and made a contribution, please consider doing so. These funds go directly back to the students and assist in funding our core programs. Follow the progress here as we launch the Annual Dash!

About the Kids Dash
Our Community School's Kids Dash is a sponsored run where students collect sponsorships from family and friends. Students are encouraged to start their own personal fundraising page, personalize it with a picture, set a goal, and share it with loved ones via email and social media.
We are fundraising for the extras that make an OCS education truly unique. Specifically, we are raising funds for a new Gaga ball pit for the playground, a new volleyball net for our intramural sports teams, support for our overnight field trips, and interactive whiteboards for the classrooms!
Teachers also incorporate the Kids Dash into their curriculum by teaching students about healthy eating, exercise, stretching, and running practice leading up to the event. On the day of the Dash, students create special signs to cheer on their "Buddy Classes."
